Peripheral Pump and Neurology

The article about the peripheral pump (http://53x12.com/do/show?page=article&id=30) is quite interesting, and seems quite relevant to my situation. About 18 months ago I suffered a pair of strokes (clots of unknown origin) one of which lead to loss of function in the right half of my body.
During rehab, much of it spent on a bike, I have felt that blood "pooled" on the right side of my body during training as well as in other times. I am curious if there are thoughts about the neurological role in the function of this aspect of the circulatory system, and if there have been investigations into methods of training this system more effectively, beyond simply turning the pedals. I do some yoga and other activities, some of which provide at least temporary improvement in circulation (presumably increased return flow).
Thanks,
burke

I am not sure your feeling the blood pooled depends on circulation.
But if pedalling with compressive socks may help your feelings, probabily you are right.
Let me know.

I should have mentioned that I have begun wearing the socks that are advertised as compression, though they are only ankle high (they may help the feet, not sure yet), but I will try to get a pair of longer compression socks to see what happens.
Thanks!
